Player mode

The following features apply to Player mode which is activated when the media tab has focus.

Playing tracks

p_x :playerp :playerplay :countplayerplay countx

Play the current track.

p_z :playerpr :playerprev :countplayerprev countz

Play the previous track.

p_b :playern :playernext :playernext b

Play the next track.

p_c :playerpa :playerpause :playerpause c

Pause/unpause the current track.

p_v :playerps :playerstop :playerpstop v

Stop playing the current track.

p_s s

Toggle shuffle mode.

p_r r

Toggle repeat mode.

p_i i

Select the currently playing track.

Queueing tracks

p_Q :qu :queue :queue artist album track Q

Queue tracks by artist/album/track. If only artist is specified then all tracks for that artist are played in album order. If album is also specified then all tracks for that album are played. A specific track can be specified with track.

Filtering the library

p_f :f :filter :filter keywords f

Filter and show the tracks as a view. The tracks are filtered by the keywords provided as arguments. This text search applies over the default filter properties, namely: Genre, Artist, Album and Track.

Seeking to a track position

p_h]]> counth

Seek +10s.

p_l]]> countl

Seek -10s.

p_H]]> countH

Seek +1m.

p_L]]> countL

Seek -1m.

:see :seek :seek [HH:]MM:SS] :seek +time[hms] | -time[hms]

Seek to an absolute or relative position in a track. The position can be given in seconds (s), minutes (m), or hours (h). If the unit is not specified then seconds is assumed. The position is absolute unless the value is prefixed with "-" or "+".

Positions may also be specified in [HH:]MM:SS format.

Adjusting the volume

p_+ p_= + =

Increase volume by 5% of the maximum.

p_- -

Decrease volume by 5% of the maximum.

:vol :volume vol[ume] value vol[ume] +value | -value

Set the player volume. value can be an absolute value between 0 and 100% or a relative value if prefixed with "-" or "+".

Managing playlists

:load :load playlist

Load playlist. If no playlist is specified then the main library view is loaded.

Changing media views

:mediav :mediaview :mediavew view

Change the media view to view. This can only be run when the media tab is the current tab.

Search commands

p_/ /pattern

Search forward for a track matching pattern in the visible media view.

p_n n

Find the next track. Repeats the last search. If the search hits BOTTOM of the view, it continues from TOP.

p_N N

Find the previous track. Repeats the last search in the opposite direction. If the search hits TOP of the view, it continues from BOTTTOM.

Rating tracks
