I noticed one instance of this while looking at the code the other day,
and after a quick grep, realized it happened a *lot*! One of the many
frustrating things about the English language is that we use apostrophes
to make pretty much everything possessive *except* the pronoun "it".
In that case, we use "its". "It's" is reserved for the contraction
meaning "it is" or "it has".
The non-gpl warnings in WPrefs.app/tiff/README
and WPrefs.app/README were misleading, because
they were refering to Marco van Hylckama Vlieg's
work which was licensed with OpenContent License.
But as Alfredo Kojima wrote in the Changelog in
commit f65c549814 from 30.03.2010,
Marco's icons were licensed with the GPL.
Furthermore, in an email to wmaker-dev on 10.03.2010,
Marco confirmed:
"Anyway, I have no problem with the artwork being
licensed under GPL or whatsoever."
